Hello again,
It is officially the second half of the semester, and I have started to play a new song the Theme From “JURASSIC PARK” from the Universal Motion Picture JURASSIC PARK Composed by John Williams. It is a song that requires two-handed playing. The left hand is focused on the Bass Clef and switches to and from the Treble Clef halfway through the song. Whereas the right hand is playing the Treble Clef only.
I have decided to scaffold my learning. I have started by focusing on the first page (it is a three-page piece). Then, I learned the second page. Once I felt comfortable with the second page, I started putting those two pages together. Now, I am trying the third page and it is coming along well. Once I feel more comfortable, practice by playing the whole piece through. Wish me luck!
Till next time,
Preston
